Dazzling Array, Enervating Gas, Inebriating Fumes, Mental Siphon,
Sense Dulling Cloud and Energy Tempest will all now share the same
recast timer.

Not sure if this is RvR or general purpose, but it appears to work.

I'm not sure if it was intended to do this, but I noticed that while
sitting in a DA storm, I have gone from zero to full endurance in about
15 seconds. I don't know if this effects other players, or just the
one casting it, but either way, it's a pretty cool side effect.

Well the first ability you get is a spell which makes the allies
within the radius of the spell harder to hit. I think its only a like
%5-%10 chance to miss increase, but not sure exactly. On mobs orange to
red seems to work extremely well. Haven't tested in RvR yet. Also the
spell animation is really really stupid. It causes the mezz effect "
ZzZzZ " to appear over everyone's head that is in the radius. I hope
they change this.

Dazzling Array is on a 300 second (5 minute) timer, if I
remember correctly. The storm last a loooong time, I didnt time it
though, seemed like it lasted as long as some buffs, maybe 5 or 10
minutes. More than enough time for an RvR battle.
If you zone, the storm dissapears and you are able to recast it in the
new zone regardless of reuse timer.

5% chance for enemies to miss allies within the cloud. The cloud is
about 350 units in diameter. I had a Minstrel melee me while i was in
the cloud and he connected about 20 times give or take and only missed

it could be used effectively in less than zerg vs zerg

2 Vacuum Vortex - pull cloud towards caster
The ability is a Ground Target spell with about a 350 radious, it
moves any storm in the radius of the spell to a random location at the
spell's edge.

One thing that was not posted was they stack. Another stormlord and I
were stacking them and you could see the difference on oj and yellow
con mobs. We could tell they were stacked by the annoying pulsing noise

Same cast time as Dazzling Array.
Looks to be another 350 radius.
Drains 12 endurance every pulse, pulse time is about 3 seconds, so
that's 4 end/sec. For comparison, End5 regenerates at 5 end/sec when in
combat.
It's on the same recast timer as Dazzling Array, as I assume all storms will be.
The problem I have with it is that it casts at your feet as well, and
not at your GT... making it incredibly hard to use, unless you are in a
situation where the enemy is going to come at you. Nov 16

One thing I've noticed with at least the endurance draining storm
is that it flagged me as "in combat" for as long as it was in use.
This means I could not use MCL and I could not use my run speed.

Inebriating Fumes - Dex/Qui Suppression Cloud

Stormlord 4 is dex/quick debuff storm.
I do know it debuffs 35 dex/qui on an unbuffed target, and expires
soon after you exit the storm area, but other than that I don't know
much more. The ability really doesn't have any practical application
to it in either PvE or RvR, and it runs on the same timer as the other

10 Arcing Power - casts have longer range or radius
I
ran a few tests using the level 50 necromancer deathsight LT on skyros
and naxos mobs. Damage done to non-targeted mobs seems to be based on
Fallout from the center of the AoE rather than 30% like the VoS site
says.
Necormancer lv44 powertap does not work with Arcing Power, lv50 LT does
Trial 1: Skyros Tidal Warrior and Soldier, these mobs were next to each other
Targeted Mob: 405 dmg
Fallout Mob: 226 dmg
Trial 2: Skyros Tidal Warrior and Soldier, same mobs
Targeted Mob: 434 dmg
Fallout Mob: 218 dmg
Trial 3: Naxos Marrow Mage and it's Pets, pets in a straight line behind their master
Targeted Mob: 441 dmg
Fallout Mob 1: 306 (+28) dmg
Fallout Mob 2: 243 (+22) dmg
Fallout Mob 3: 167 (+15) dmg
Test 4: Skyros Guros, Tracker, and Monitor, these mobs were next to each other

you hit random alb nooblet number4 for 100(-100) dmg!
you break his mez!
you hit random alb nooblet number5 for 100(-100) dmg!

get the picture?
now heres the funny part, the first 4 ml10 stormlords on my server,
(hib/palo) all have 0 use for this. 2 of us are NIGHTSHADES. one of us
is a VALEWALKER and the other is a MANA ELD.
yes it should work for a bolt, no it doesnt do AE PA (i wish) it doesnt affect melee styles at all, only spells.
the only spell i can even think of that this could be moderately
usefull for is for a light eld to cast AE nearsight. other than that,
this is utter and complete BS. and yes, crimson beaks info is correct.
to cast this spell, you must cast it for 10 secs, then you must cast
the spell you want to be AE sometime in the next 30 secs while the buff
is on, you get one cast. '
oh, and for clarifacation, so we dont get any more
nerf nightshade threads, the nuke values above are purely arbitrary
values from a cloth caster. my nightshade casted nukes usually hit for
30-50, and would then hit all others around for 10-20
tested it, does not work for poisons.
as for doing it
with snare nukes, i imagine it would work. as for doing it with ae
nukes or vp, nooo f'in clue what would happen. Feb 15

Arcing
Power. takes 5 seconds to cast. Creates a self buff that
lasts about 30 seconds, on a 4-5 minute recast timer. Self buff
makes it so that the next DD cast will have a longer range or that the
next ae will have a greater radius. Their notes are messed up
onto the DD part, says it increases it's radius, i'm assuming they mean
range, and not sure how far 120 units equates to on range i don't
know. The DD radius thing isn't correct though. I don't
have any information onto how much larger radius is on pbae/ae
spells. Damage does drop off though and it only lasts 1

My test w/ bolts and dd's did not make them AE's (though a
DD that is an AE is pretty worthless as i could just use the AE i
have... i guess if you were a light eldritch (all 4 of them) then it
would be ok, or ae stun :P) Useless for vw's.
Only time it appears to be of any use is if you are camping a
milegate atm and that's zzzzzzz. Then again, the all of the stormlord
ml's are basically worthless unless you play on gahreis or just camp
mile gates or keeps. Feb 17
