The Healer's Embrace now has 5% Cold, 5% Heat and 5% Energy resists. (1.81 Patch Notes)
The primary ability of the Healers Embrace is now correctly be set to a self-target heal.
The Wave of Healing spell on A Healer's Embrace cloak now heals the
wearer in addition to realmmates. (patch notes v1.70 Jun 22 2004)

The Celestial Healing and Herbal Regrowth spells on A Healer's Embrace will now affect a maximum of forty players.
Fixed delve on 'Wave of Healing' to indicate that the target must be in the caster's line of sight to be healed. (this might be ML 10 ability?)

Done this with 3 ,warden with pf and hf ,bard with pf and hf and a Ns.
Find a spot ahead of where Mesedsubastet is heading and drop feilds...mez all the
lions ,let the warden/ns tank named and other take adds 1 by 1...usually 2
are not killed in time so just taunt and kite...or bring extra tank...cloak
drops anywhere doesn't have to kill pedi. May 17 2004

Tips:
I was reading the hints and tips for getting the Healer's Embrace
Cloak, and you dont really need to do what every one is saying, my
group got a aug/men shammy, a aug/pac healer, a zerker and a warrior
(all 50). we started with an aoe mezz the shaman rooted those
that resisted, and we proceeded to kill his 5 followers... mind you we
did have font of power up. see when mezz wore off the shaman would root
and when that wore off the healer mezzed... Apr 30 2004
When fighting the named lion for the cloak there is one thing you should not do: Don't charm one of the orange lions.
If you charm one as a pet to help with CC (the charm spells original
intent) you will get no credit on the kill of the purple lion. No exp,
no notice of his death, nothing. Jan 5

One possible reason the cloak does not always drop is that the attending
crazed lions actually despawn at one point of the lion trail (near the
haven) and the named then picks up new ones as he goes along. This is not
so long after they fight the priest, so it may be that the loot gets
cleared at the same time.
Also, we found that a good way to force the encounter is to have a tank
disband and pull the lions to the named priest - then just engage the lion
while the rest of the group pulls the adds off the priest from range. Dont
touch the priest and he should go for the named lion - then proceed as
normal. This is useful because the lions only pass through the aggro range
of the priest every hour or so but they come pretty close much more frequently.
