Strategy:

Location:
At the entrance of Cyrek's cave 3500 16.7 Arbor Glen.

My guild did Jacina's Sash with 9 peeps + 2 bots on standby. We had 3 paladins, 1 scout, 1 mins, 1 infil and 1 theurgist, besides the clerics. Once we got the hang of it, the bots werent needed at all. We had no deaths while killing Cyrek.
Basically, we pretty much cleared the mobs from outside the canyon till we reached Balasi's "chamber". Then, the scout disbanded, pulled and kited Balasi and his friends out of the canyon. Mins then disbanded and went into the inner chamber to pull Cyrek and his friends. Minstrel kited Cyrex's adds all the way to town. As the mobs ran past, one of the paladins pulled Cyrek and we killed Cyrek. Throughout this we were at the space just outside Balasi's chamber, but within the canyon.  Sep 19 2004

The Jacina's Sash encounter has been reduced in difficulty. Furthermore, it will no longer be possible to pull Cyrek or Balasi outside of the canyon.  (patch notes v1.70 Jun 22 2004)

Tips:

Since you can no longer pull Cyrek to Aerus haven since the nerf... you do the encounter with 2+fg. (albion) I have done it this way 2 times successfully since the nerf.
This encounter needs at least 2fg (2.5 recommended) of well balanced players level 45+.  Sep 23 2004

This has been done with 3 people:  Minstrel(me) + Cabalist + Cleric Bot.
We pulled the camp so we only got cyrek and about 5 adds w/ Cyrek.   Apr 9 2004

(The minstrel had a charmed centaur.)

This is in the NW corner of AG and this can be done with 2 solid groups. Cyrek is the key to this encounter. Should go as follows. Pull the first few groups of clops and get to the point where you can target Cyrek, once you have this you can get a skald and kite him and all the adds away from the group. Have the main groups peel off Cyrek and take him down. He is easy to kill it's the adds that make it hard. I kited the clops with a Shammy and with Perma sprint it worked fine, but a skald should be able to do it as well.  Feb 6

The completed scroll reads:
The Tarin's Animal Skin reads, "I cannot let the memory of sweet Jacina be lost to time.  I shall never forget the time I found her hiding near our camp, watching us.  She was so tiny that I thought she was but a child and sought to protect her not only from our powerful hooves but from the cyclopes that roam the land by bringing her into our camp.  Jacina was so charming and beautiful that soon every one of us was wrapped around her little finger.  She begged us for rides, and unable to resist her charms, we took turns taking her soaring across the sky.  As night finally approached, I flew her back to the safety of Atlantis.  She hugged me and promised to visit again."

The Tarin's Animal Skin reads, "It was a few days before Jacina came to visit us again but when she arrived in the camp it was like a breath of fresh air.  In hopes that she would come visit to us she had completely stolen my heart, which led me to worry for her safety, crossing the lands to reach our camp.  I gave her an enchanted stone so she could summon me to carry her across the dangerous lands so she would not be attacked by the cyclopes.  She laughed at me, saying I was worrying too much.  But I did get her to use it for many of her visits."

The Tarin's Animal Skin reads, "I must force myself to write what happened next.  After these many years I thought the pain would fade, but it has not.  It was early one morning when I heard Jacina's desperate cries for help through the enchanted stone she carried.  She had decided to surprise me and hadn't called for me to escort her.  The Cyclopes, who had been waiting for such a time, attacked and mortally wounded my sweet Jacina.  They fled as I arrived, carrying a long, fluttering sash.  With her last bit of strength, Jacina told me of the gift she had made for me - an enchanted sash that would boost my natural strength and skills.  She made me promise to get it back from the Cyclopes then left this world forever.  I shall miss my beloved Jacina."  Sep 16 2004
