The Band of Stars now has increased Dexterity and Constitution Caps as well as increased Hit Points cap. (1.81 Patch Notes)

 The Band of Stars will now correctly cast the shapechange, bolt, and debuff portions of the level ten spell.

There are TWO ways to try to do this encounter.  I have seen both of these ways done.  - Mura (screen shot from Thethird)

1)  Wait for her to pop. 
She will pop by herself.  You can just keep checking both tombs and she'll be at one of them eventually.  This is pretty random.  I've watched the tombs for hours and she finally showed up.  Another friend of mine killed her 3 times at the same tomb in 10 minutes.  Feb 26

2)  Try to get her to pop. 
Basically all I do is check the two tomb areas periodically. I look to see if there are any female snakes by either of the tomb. If there is, I walk up to what would be considered aggro range.
If the snake that will turn into her is up, it will run away from you when you are in aggro range. Wait a few minutes and she will pop in the tomb.
The snakes that were not flaged to turn into her will just attack you when you get in range. I kill them, go do something else, and check back later.
This technique has worked pretty well for me and I've gotten ~4 band of stars and a band of shadows for my efforts.   Feb 26

I solod this non buffed on my zerker...all i did was go in temple stunned chisisi and zerkd on Back chain and when i IPd she was at 28% already . wasnt hard at all.  Jan 12

Tips:

To get band of stars check the locations, if you find one of the locations with a snake that says its she, instead of he. Do a low level dd, arrow, or mez.  If you do damage to her wait till she gets to 100% then she will pop in to Chris.  If you Mez just wait several seconds she'll pop into Chris after mez wears off and she goes into temple.  Mar 22 2004

Rumors: 'The setian kings in the temples must be down for her to spawn.' FALSE
'NOT killing the snakes in the tomb makes her spawn.' TRUE
'Killing her at night triggers the drop.' FALSE: she drops anytime randomly
'Killing her outside of the tomb makes her drop for frequently.' UNSURE, although i believe it is false. Personally, i have killed her 9 times, with different combonations of in-game times and locations. SHE HAS NOT DROPPED ONCE. I have talked to other people for whom she dropped MOST of the time.

In order for Chisisi to spawn at one temple, the Chisisi in the other temple must be down. Each tomb snake takes from 1 hour to 3 hours to spawn. After the 3rd, she usually spawns within a half hour. It is possible for her to spawn at one temple, then at the other within about 10 minutes. If 3 snakes are up at one and she pops at the other, this will be the case.
If you want a general spawn time, i would say AVG=7 hours.   Jan 29
