Comments on Solo, Grouped, or Battlegrouped: a lvl 50 soloed it, at level 48, 2 people are needed
Steps:
1. Maissa in Aerus (Maissa is the Midgard starting NPC)
2. Gyosti in Volcanus
3. Bjarne in Volcanus for page of the book
4. Kill Salamander Hatchling for Pristine skin or Buy the page for 100g on page 4 of his merchant
5. back to Bjarne if you killed Hatchling and he gives you the page
6. Back to Gyosti
7.Micalla (alch merchant) for Diamond Devil Dust IN Volcanus
8. She tells you that Electrical Catalyst for 16g on page 2 of her merchant is the same thing so buy that.
9. Back to Gyosti and he said it isnt the right stuff
10. Back to Micalla and sell the dust to her. She tells you to go to Stygia and kill a Diamond Dust Devil.
11. Kill Diamond Dust Devil loc 17462, 4302 Boreal. Its a yellow
con with like 5 blue cons around it. Make sure you pull it away from
the island because it calls for help and then they all come. He also
nukes for 150ish uninteruptable. (also see tips)
12.Back to Gyosti in Volcanus
13. He puts all the pages together and says this gorgon maiden has it.
14. Go to Aerus SW at loc 12109, 2963 in GG by some stones and
kill Eshani named maiden.
She also calls for help and could be bad if
solo or no CC because there is about 12 ojs to a 50. She lifetaps but
doesnt hit hard. (

Tips:
What you are trying to get is diamond devil dust, she asks if you are
certain that it can be found on devils. Say no (i did) and she will
send you to kill a diamond dust devil off stygia. To do this swim se
from the docks in stygia. they are on the island with greater wind
elementals and ither things that will kill you. If you are a pet class
get a pet then pull a diamond dust devil while standing in the water.
They con yellow at 48. When i killed it i suddenly had agro from all
the other dust devils on the island. run. Jul 21 2004
